I have some good news for you!
1. I got a 98% on my Family Process test!
2. I got a 98% on my Art History test!
3. I got a 95% on my Western Civ test!
(Are you impressed yet? I sure am!)
4. I got Pintrest! I haven't done a lot with it yet and it is a little confusing to me, but kinda fun. Mostly all that I know about it is that it's addicting and a time waster. Perfect!
5. I am going to China! Okay, this isn't for real yet. I went to the interest meeting on Tuesday and couldn't believe how badly it made me want to go. Sooo bad! It's sounds amazing. Now all I have to do is find out how much my parents really love me.....Daddy? ;)
6. I didn't get blown up! Apparently the threat said the school would be blown up at 6:00 pm on Monday if the bomber didn't get a million dollars by then. What an idiot. A) they called from a cell phone and were caught pretty quickly and B) if you want a million dollars, you are definitely asking the wrong people. SVU is broke. Nice try.
7. I didn't have to go to court this morning! Also, I just realized that I never really told this story so I shall give you a brief summary. A few weeks ago, my housemate's wallet was stolen, used, and destroyed by Imari's housemate. (What is this world coming to?) Anyway, that whole process has been pretty intense and annoying. It's hard not to get drug into this mess when you are housemates and friends with the victim and the theif's housemates. What a mess. Anyway, I had to write a statement for the police officer one day because I had seen the girl come into our house the morning that Brigitte's wallet was stolen. She came in and said something like "Oops wrong house! Haha sorry Cassie." Apparently that's a bigger story than I had thought it was. I wrote my statement and a couple weeks later was subpoenaed to court. Fantastic. There is a reason I don't commit crimes: I have zero interest in being anywhere near courtrooms, police officers, judges, etc. It's safe to say that I was less than happy when I found out I had to go to court. A lot less than happy. Especially because I would have to miss class for it. That upset me the most. (Nerd? No. I just don't like failing.) Fortunately, on Monday I decided to be a big girl. I made some phone calls and told them that the statement that I wrote was all I had to say and I had class that I really couldn't miss. After a couple days of phone tag, I was informed that I had been relieved of my duties and didn't have to go to court. YESSS!! You have no idea how happy that made me. I was able to go to Art History today and talk about Greek statues rather than sit in a scary courtroom and be questioned by scary lawyers. (Brigitte said the guy questioning her was super scary and she didn't even do anything!) Unfortunately, (and ridiculously) the girl pled not guilty, so she has to go to a grand jury in January. I will probably be subpoenaed again then. Awesome. We aren't going to think about that now though mmmmk?
8. I vacuumed my floor and did my laundry!
9. My momma will be here in 7 days and 18 hours!!
10. I am going to get to bed at a reasonable hour tonight.
I love your news updates. Seriously. I wish I had half the life you do. But we'll save all this mushy stuff for another day. Love ya!
